Hello and welcome to this week’s blog post.

Thank you for responding to our question "Do you know who your child's key person is?".  We had 24 responses, 23 yes and 1 no.  We have now emailed everyone to inform you of your child's key person, if you are still unsure please speak to the room leader.  We now have a new question, "Do you read the blog?"
In Class 2 this week we have been making things for Father's day and the children have told us what they love about their dad.  The tadpoles have now moved into the pond and the caterpillars are growing!  On Wednesday, a parent baked fruit scones with the children.  We have introduced a 'curiosity' cube to the class, they have been drawing pictures and talking about the items inside the cube.  The current letter for the sound bag is 'P', if you find anything beginning with this letter, please bring it in to add to our bag.  It has been a very wet week, the children have continued going outside and playing in the rain.

In Class 1 this week the children have been given the opportunity to make father's day cards if they wanted to, this also lead onto children creating telephones and pictures to put on the wall. Outside the children created chalk paint and created marks on the fence using this, and created an obstacle course which the children went through the puddles, over the crates and under planks of wood. On Tuesday the children made fruit tartlets which looked yummy!  Today in forest school the children helped to create a shelter and used this as their home in their role play.

Please join us for Strawberry fayre on Thursday from 3pm.  We still need donations for the tombola and cakes for the tea stall.
