Welcome to this week’s blog post. This week in Class 1 the children have explored the concepts of full and empty with the cloud dough.  The children have shown an interest in enclosing items, we provided them with a variety of boxes and resources to allow them to explore this further.  Tweezers were also added to help strengthen the muscles in their hands.  On Thursday we went to Forest School, the children explored the pully system and rope swing.  We have been observing our wormery and adding leaves to it. This week in Class 2 we found a Troll on Norway on the world map, we used the iPad to find out why it was there and discovered that there are lots of fairy stories with Trolls in.  We then looked at the Billy Goats Gruff story and used clay to make our own Trolls and Goats. On Tuesday we made pumpkin pie as part of our Thanksgiving celebrations.  On Wednesday we made up our own stories and acted them out on the stage and on Thursday the children explored the clay
