Welcome to this week’s blog post.

This week in Class 1 the children have shown an interest in making dens, so we have been using various things to make them both inside and out.  On Monday the children went to Forest School, they spent the time exploring the site.  The children have made their own playdough and we have started to practise Christmas songs.

This week in Class 2 we have been making Rangoli patterns with rice and flowers.  We have also introduced the children to the playdough station where they can independently make their own.  Following on from the interests last week, we added the wooden car to the class room, the children have been travelling in the car together.
In the garden we have been making 'medicines' in the mud kitchen and some of the children helped us clear the leaves!
We learnt a new poem 'falling apples' and even started to learn some Christmas songs!!!
The pirates had visited Forest School again and left the children items to make leaf decorations, we also tried to make a rope swing again and this time it worked!

Please help us raise money for Class 1's garden by ordering your Christmas tree with us.

Question for parents:

We have a few gems in the no jar in response to the current question, please give us feedback on this.  You can either leave a note in the red box or speak to Claire or Aimee.  It is important for us to reflect and review our practice and we do value ALL feedback.  Unfortunately if we do not know how we did not meet you expectations, we can not ensure that we do better in the future.
