Hello and welcome to this weeks blog post.

Thank you for responding to our questions regarding the blog, the majority of parents read it so we will continue trying to post weekly!  There is a new question, please have a look and respond.

We all had a lovely time at Thomley Hall on Wednesday, thank you for joining us.  Over the summer they will have various open days with different activities, please take a look at their website for more details.  https://thomley.org.uk/calendar/

This week in Class 2 we found a frog in our pond!  The garden continues to grow and we look forward to harvesting the fruit and vegetables soon.  We had a very wet forest school on Tuesday and the children mixed powder paint with the mud and water to create new colours.  The children have chosen some songs and music for our leavers celebration (please let us know if you are coming) and we have been practising.

In Class 1 this week we created musicals instruments using pasta and lentils, carried out an experiment to find out what would happen when milk, salt, water, oil and food colouring were mixed together. At Forest school we continued to create Marks using a hammer and looked for bugs. The children also made their own playdough. Please remember to put sun cream on your child before they come into Pre-School and send it a sunhat. Both classes have been practising for sports day! Fingers crossed that the weather is good for Monday 8th July. Next week - Class 1 parent consultations.
